Kramer Vineyards

Located in the northern part of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, our 22-acre vineyard was established in 1984 and boasts some of the oldest marine soils in the Willamette Valley, offering a unique flavor profile thanks to protection from the elements by the Coast Range mountains.

Our sedimentary rock-based Peavine and Willakenzie soil deposits ensure excellent drainage and our vineyard prioritizes sustainable and dry farming practices. Planted to varieties like Pinot Noir, Dijon Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, and more, our vineyard and practices emphasize quality through meticulous cultivation practices. Our holistic, sustainable approach includes natural pest control and biodiversity promotion and we are committed to crafting exceptional wines rooted in stewardship of our vineyard ecosystem. Sis & Mae Wine Co.

Sis and Mae Wine Co draws its inspiration from the indomitable spirit of two remarkable women, ‘Sis,’ and her sister-in-law, Mae. Their journey began in the late 1940s when they uprooted their families from New Mexico to Oregon, guided by the ever-shifting currents of work opportunities.

In every place they called home, Sis and Mae could be found, an enduring presence on the porch of Sis’s house. Here, amid the Oregon landscapes, they wove their stories, sipping countless cups of coffee, and weaving the intricate tapestry of their households. Unbeknownst to them, their lives would become an integral part of the unique culture of the Willamette Valley, contributing a thread to the rich fabric of Oregonian identity.

From this resilient environment, they both took and gave, shaping the future of their family in ways unforeseen. Today, their legacy lives on in the very essence of our family. It is with unwavering dedication to this spirit that Sis and Mae Wine Co aspires to craft wines that embody the true essence of Oregon. With each bottle, we hope to capture the moments of connection, when you, like Sis and Mae, embrace the people and environment that surround you.”

She has made wine for over 28 years, beginning in Oregon in 1993 when she commuted back and forth between Oregon and France. She currently is the winemaker for De Ponte Cellars in the Dundee Hills where she as been the winemaker since their first vintage in 2001.

Bud’s Bloom

Growing up on a farm near Carlton, owner and winemaker Greg Van Dyke developed a taste for both the outdoors and agriculture and coincidentally, was also exposed to the burgeoning wine industry erupting around him.  Agricultural work entailed many skills, mechanical work among them,  which led him to pursuing a degree in engineering.
After completing his degree, he pursued an engineering career, but found himself being steadily pulled back to the wine industry.  In 2010 he interrupted his engineering work and traveled to New Zealand to work at Ata Rangi in Martinborough.  This incredible experience allowed him the opportunity to work with great wines and wonderful people in beautiful surroundings. When he returned to Oregon, he again found work in the construction world but with more immediate intent to start his wine label.  Bud’s Bloom was started in 2012 with the first releases coming from the 2013 vintage.
The brand and the very existence of it is originally accredited to Greg’s grandfather, Robert “Bud” Van Dyke, who was the first generation of Oregon farmers in his family lineage.  His Son, William Van Dyke, and Greg’s family also farmed in the Willamette Valley.  One piece of property farmed was originally owned by Bud and would eventually be planted to what is now Janice Vineyard.
